Thos. Winnard & Sons Ltd have been manufacturing and distributing commercial vehicle brake discs and brake drums since 1930. Our extensive range covers: light commerical, Industrial, PSV, Specialist, Truck and Trailer applications.

Location

We currently operate from a 3000 sq m manufacturing and storage facility located at Rotherham in the north of England, Junction 1 on the M18 motorway, ideally positioned between J35 A1 and J32 M1. (click here to see map) However, due to the need for more storage space we have decided to increase our warehouse size to 11000 sq m by moving to new premises nearer to the centre of Rotherham. This new facility will provide us with the room to develop our business, we are planning to move into this facility late 2008.

Quality

Winnard are recognised as the U.K.'s leading after-market supplier with supply approvals from major axle and vehicle manufacturers. Our product quality is recognised and approved by major fleet operators both within the U.K. and abroad.

Our manufacturing manual and operational procedures have been developed inline with our major customers requirements. Our bespoke manufacturing and data system has been created with technical data acquired over 75 years of dedicated brake disc and drum production. Containing over 2000 records this database represents an integral part of our manufacturing knowledge.

By using this knowledge, the latest C.N.C. and Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (C.M.M.) we have earned the reputation of providing a quality product which meets the exacting standards required by today's modern vehicles.

Stock

To ensure we maintain our market position we invested heavily in our stock profile. With our increasing part number range, including 200 active brake disc and 500 brake drum references, we are confident we can continue to grow our business both within the U. K. and overseas. Service

To ensure our customers receive the best possible service we control our product distribution in-house using, where possible, our own delivery vehicles. Export orders can be supplied on an ex-works, FOB or CIF basis. Product branding is also available if required.
